I would like to pay tribute to a huge influence on me as a singer. Linda Ronstadt was a huge influence on me.

“I will always love you” played on the bus radio on the way to school every morning. What an absolutely beautifully written song sung with all the emotion and feeling that a song like that should have.

Many years later I would hear it again sung very well, but my mind would always go back to that version the one played on the school bus radio.

Here it is a Beautiful song with all the feeling and emotion that this song written by Dolly Parton deserves sung by Linda Ronstadt off of the Prisoner in Disguise album.

Linda Ronstadt has a new album out called Duets and gets the recognition she deserves with induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame

“The thing I like about singing duets,” she says, “is that I get things out of my voice I never get singing by myself,” says Ronstadt.

Emmylou Harris, Stevie Nicks, Bonnie Raitt, Sheryl Crow and Carrie Underwood are singing in honour of Ronstadt and although the award may not be overly significant to her, it is welcome recogniton of a modest and talented musician, who said once that she just loved to sing in a way that “told my story”.
