Linda Ronstadt has a new album out called Duets and gets the recognition she deserves with induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame

“The thing I like about singing duets,” she says, “is that I get things out of my voice I never get singing by myself,” says Ronstadt.

Emmylou Harris, Stevie Nicks, Bonnie Raitt, Sheryl Crow and Carrie Underwood are singing in honour of Ronstadt and although the award may not be overly significant to her, it is welcome recogniton of a modest and talented musician, who said once that she just loved to sing in a way that “told my story”.
